Julian has a healthy head of hair. It has grown long and a bit untidy because his older brother and sister made him fearful of going to barbershops. They would talk about all kinds of horrible things that could happen once someone gets their hair cut or styled in The Big Chair.

They made it seem like sitting in The Big Chair could negatively affect his life. So, Julian has become scared of barbershops with big chairs... and they all have big chairs in them.

Something really surprising happens to Julian when he faces his fear of The Big Chair.
